+ milk.radio #83 podcast +

i was mucking about in my room before getting ready to record the show and i came upon this record & that and then the next thing i knew there was a new mix staring me in the face... i think its got a bit of an african twist hence the name. track #1 is awesome. yes, you heard me. nice one dublex if you're listening. there are also a couple cuts from the long lost nuphonic records. oh nuphonic how i miss you. may you rest in peace... i think i'm going to do a nuphonic tribute mix soon. love the idjut boys & laj track as well as the funky lowlives cut. that one used to rock milk. parties to no end. oh and i was checking the statistics for my podcast and really surprised to see that there were 792 downloads of show #82. a few of you have emailed me & got in contact via myspace.com to pass along your appreciation... i'm humbled... hope you like this one... i messed up a mix but try to ignore it... it was done live baby!

show no. 83 gani's 'dans l'afrique' mix.

I love it... Wonderful mixes..! So much so that I thought.. 'cool.. can't wait to get this home and play it through the hifi... but oh.. 96kbps... Bummer'
Any hope of upping the bitrate in future..?
I won't complain either way.. simply grateful for the sounds. But thought I'd put my vote in for Higher Quality.
Keep on jammin,

Oh.. while I'm here.
Is there any way to get podcasts #74 & 75.. I see the playlists but they are unavailable in the podcast subscription.
Any links or wisdom..?

hmm... they should be part of the podcast list... are you using itunes to subscribe? i think if you use itunes to subscribe you will get the new show & then you'll be given the option to download the older shows. the podcast started at show #74. i'm not familiar with other podcatchers so im not sure if they offer the same thing. let me know how it goes...

yeah.. I 'm using iTunes. The only shows offered are 76 - 83. And the same if you view http://feeds.feedburner.com/milkradio

So I dunno.. maybe it auto-clips the older shows off or soemthing..?

"my guess is that you need to change your blogger setting to inlcude more posts in the blog/feed... you can set this on the Settings/Formatting section for your Blogger blog (look for the "Show" pulldown) "

I pulled this from the feedburner support forums. Some others had a similar issue of older shows not appearing in iTunes, but it appears that the problem lies with what ever blog software your feeding to Feedburner. Might wanna have a look into that if you can see the same problem I can.

hmm... the feed isn't connected to my blog. the blog is here to keep a record of the shows/playlists and i did notice that #74/#75 weren't on the feedburner list. i think this is because #74/#75 were made when i was first getting into podcasting & had the blog connected to feedburner. show #76 was where i started with feedburner directly. try clicking the links below with your right mouse button & choosing save as. it should let you download those shows...
