chops.

I never saw myself as the organizer or planner type. However, I've written copy for crown corporations, club owners and concrete producers. I've played publicist for my own bedroom, nabbing national press more than once.

The number of hours I've clocked as "in production" could be described as billions and billions! However, for purposes of accuracy, I'll say 10,000+. There are invoices to prove it. In two separate print houses, over a total of three years, I held hands with everyone from the client through to the press operator. I know my dots, spots, lines and screens. As for web development? I can index pallets in my sleep, read: more web than I would wish on my worst enemy.

Just so that we're on the same page; I have a production calibre proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and QuarkXpress on both the PC and Mac platforms. I know my way around the Avid interface, have total respect for the developers of FinalCutPro, and despite it's old school approach and many flaws, I've been an AfterEffects guy since v3.0. If it was developed by Adobe then I have at least some professional experience with it.

Finally, I paint and sculpt, and plan for the day when I'll do so more often.
