Crash Addicts [2007] web video to support television broadcast 4Mb : 30sec video with audio : Quicktime required

This clip illustrates digital painting and animation with live action footage in order to achieve seamless loops. Even at the best of times it would be difficult to get an actor to return to precisely the same position after delivering their line. Imagine swapping real life "smash-up derby" drivers for actors, make sure they've had plenty to drink, and finally, because you're using P2 cards for the first time, you lose the plate shot (a clean shot of the set without the boozy guys).
The project taxed my After Effects and Shake abilities, but www.crashaddicts.com is winning awards, and that's a good thing..
