milk.bedroom.gallery. [2001-] gallery/multimedia event 22.8Mb : 3minute video with audio : Quicktime required

In 2000, I joined milk. as creative director. and was given the opportunity to be involved with what became a very recognizable grass-roots campaign in Toronto.
My desire to play curator lead to the milk.bedroom.gallery. This project leverages both brand awareness and industry contacts to create an event purposely showcasing artists from disciplines as diverse as traditional/visual, performance/musical, and new plus mass media.
The event has succeeded in putting the likes of photographers Jason & Carlos Sanchez, and Eldon Garnet, along with painters Richard Stipl and William Fisk, singers Measha Brueggergosman and David Usher, directors Soo Lyu and Bruce LeBruce, ballet stars Greta Hodgkinson and William Marrié, [to shamelessly name a few] in the same room at the same time.
The hook? That room is literally my bedroom.
We have repeatedly received flattering editorial from multiple outlets, including Bravo!, The CBC, Telelatino, The Toronto Star, The National Post and Eye Weekly.
